The Mosquito Swat Team Services Options
Mosquito Barrier Spray
Our mosquito barrier spray is our basic service package. Included in this service package, we will perform a walk around, visual inspection of your property. Our goal is to identify any potential breeding area for mosquitoes, and then develop a customized treatment plan for your unique property and situation.
This inspection is done each time we complete a scheduled service at your property. Things such as weather, yard improvements, toys, and even leaking irrigation systems can change your needs without you realizing it.
Our licensed technicians are trained to identify potential problem areas and develop a treatment plan while on site so that you can receive the maximum benefit from your treatment.
In general, this package consists of a establishing a perimeter around your property, and treating the most common areas that mosquitoes will use as shelter - shrubs and bushes, flower beds, mulch and rock beds, underground drainage areas, etc.
Flea and Tick Treatment
In addition to our basic mosquito barrier spray service package, we can add on our most popular selection - Mosquito, Flea and Tick.
Our flea and tick protection package provides the most relief from outdoor pests. Depending on the size and features of your unique property, this service package treats everything that can be a potential threat to you, your family and your pets.
Not only do we treat the items listed above in the mosquito treatment package, but we treat the ground surrounding your home. For most of our residential customers, this will be your yards. Our application will treat your grassy areas or in some cases the wooded areas in which your home is located.
Quarterly Home Perimeter Pest
We also offer exterior home protection for you. Our technicians are also trained to visually inspect the exterior of your home for areas of potential insect activity. You don't have to wait for evidence of insect activity with our products. Stop the problems before they start with proactive treatments
Our products will treat for: ants, beetles, centipedes, cockroaches, crickets, fleas, flies, millipedes, moths, spiders, stink bugs, ticks, - and much more.
We use products that are pet and family safe once they are dry. The chemical compounds we apply work in several stages.
The first line of defense is residual treatment. Our products dry fast and clear with no odor. As insects cross the residue barrier, they come into contact with the treatment chemicals.
Our second line of defense is bait. We use a granular product that resembles a food source that many insects would recognize. They eat the bait themselves, but in most cases they will carry it back to the nest and feed the rest of the colony.
The Mosquito Swat Team Treatment Product Options
Synthetic Products
Our synthetic products are fully registered and controlled by multiple regulatory agencies. These include the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, U.S. Department of Agriculture, the Missouri Department of Agriculture, among others.
We carefully measure, mix, and record every treatment product that we apply. Each treatment site gets its own customized mix of chemicals based on the property size, desired treatment request, and our licensed technicians judgement about what is minimally required to achieve the desired outcome for the customer.
These products offer the most effective protection for the 21 day treatment cycle.
Synthetic products are commonly referred to as pesticides and fall into one of three catagories:

Insect Growth Regulators (IGRs): Chemicals that disrupt the development of mosquito larvae, preventing them from maturing into adults.

Adulticides: Pesticides specifically designed to kill adult mosquitoes, often used in fogging or spraying applications.

Larvicides: Targeted treatments that kill mosquito larvae in standing water before they can develop into adults.
Botanical Products
For customers who are concerned about the use of pesticides and other man made chemicals, we offer options that are based on natural sources.
Most of our botanical options are derived from plant based oils. They are not considered all natural products, as these are a combination of natural oils and synthesized derivatives created in the lab.
While these options have a softer impact to our environment, these products come with their own cautions.
Just as with any other compound, these botanical based products can have negative effects to those that have severe allergies.
These products are considered just as effective for the entire 21 day treatment cycle as synthetic optioins.
All Natural Products
We do offer "non-pesticide" options for our customers who still want mosquito control, but do not want the harsh chemicals in their environment.
While these are great options, they often do not achieve the same level of control over the 21 day treatment cycle.
Customizable Treatment Plans
Every treatment plan that we offer to our customers is fully customizable.
Many of our customers use some combination, or all of our treatment product options at their home.
We are happy to provide combination treatment plans that fit your needs, from areas that required all natural or botanical products along with synthetics in other areas, to full "NO SPRAY" zones, to "KEEP THE BEES".
